SECOND SET OF WINNERS EMERGE IN THE 54ARTISTRY REWARD INITIATIVE

1.      Imela Elias , Architect

Imela is a young architect who is currently a master’s student of Covenant University. He’s a lover of Arts and Design in its entirety. 

 

Short Description: Visual Design Office Reception, like the name implies shows the design layouts of an office reception. It suggests a tasteful, classy and exquisite layout that I believe companies should have. So if you do have an office building in mind, this architect shouldn’t be at the very top of your list.

 2.      Matthew Eguavoen, Artist

Project Name: Pirate

Eguavoen Matthew Imuetiyan is from Edo state, Nigeria. He finished from the University of Port Harcourt, studied Civil Engineering and is now serving his country as a National Youth Service Corps member in Kaduna state.

He is a Self-taught Portrait Artist and has a registered business with the name Pencil Portrait Artist Ventures

 

Short Description: Don’t we all just love the Jack Sparrow character of the Pirates of the Caribbean? This pencil work of the very amazing Johnny Deep looks just exactly the same as the picture it is drawn from. The artist really did a number on this piece of art.

 

THE STORY BEHIND THE PROJECT:

 

“The story behind the project is not a complicated one, woke up one morning and saw a notification on my phone from a friend tagging me to this competition on Instagram and i decided to give it a shot!  3.      Nwachukwu Ifeanyichukwu, Photographer

Project Name: SMOOTHS IN THE CRACKS

I.P Nwachukwu is a complete Artist who does from Conventional arts to digital, literary, performing arts, and photography to top it up. He’s a daring and spontaneous person, highly optimistic but realistic too. He likes learning and bending the rules. He enjoys creativity in any form and also a fan of originality and ulterior decency. He believes he has the tendency of being a very cool and interesting person.

 

Short Description: If you know anything about love, rejection, betrayal, this picture would appeal to you greatly. The project tells a story and in the words of the photographer: ‘A traditional folk tale of the ditching of the beautiful, the presumed idea of masculine supremacy over the woman. From the woman's angle revealing the outer and inner beauty, love, passion, romance, betraying, and hurts. The revelation of a woman's crying voice’.

4.      Jesse Jones, Graphic Designer

Project Name: Gone with the Wind

Project Description: Digital painting based on a friend’s relationship.

Jesse Jones is a Fine and Applied Arts student of the University of Benin, currently in 300level (Graphics major). He’s into Photography and Digital Arts.

 

This work really does take your breath away… but only for a moment. It is a graphical representation that depicts a sad looking girl probably lost in her thoughts or pain, whose mind is far away; anywhere but here. You almost want to feel sad for her sadness about her sadness and try to take it away.

 

THE STORY BEHIND THE PROJECT:

When I did this project, I wasn't really expecting to win because there is a lot of challenge about the job because am happy which is a digital painting of myself was done to depict my mood. I have been sold far since I got to join the 54artistry network and am grateful for that.
